FILM: FORKS OVER KNIVES (2011).
Forks over Knives is an outstanding documentary that explores the health and environmental advantages of the vegan diet.
The film examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods. The film follows the work of a nutritional biochemist from
Cornell University and a surgeon from the Cleveland Clinic and follows the clinical course of several real patients to back up
its claims.
As a physician and vegetarian, I found this to be an excellent film containing very solid scientific data. Our goal is not to
convert everyone to the vegan diet, but to present the data in an informative and entertaining manner. The FOP has attempted to present the best new documentaries available to our audience and we believe this film fulfills that goal. And it covers a topic that we have not addressed in the past. I have no doubt you will enjoy this documentary and learn from it.
All free.
