In 2008, the Back to the Earth Gardening Coalition (now the HOT Urban Gardening Coalition) held a Harvest Lunch at Carver Park Baptist Church to honor the students and volunteers who worked at the Carver Park Baptist, Doris Miller Elementary and GL Wiley Elementary gardens.
This year will be our 4th Annual Harvest Celebration, honoring the many students and youth who have participated at school and church gardens partnering with the HOT Urban Gardening Coalition. As well as honoring garden club students, the Urban Gardening Coalition is working with the McLennan County Hunger Coalition to promote the Spring Onto Summer Food Drive and raise awareness of the benefits of working with youth in the garden. The Harvest Celebration will be held at the Baylor Campus Garden on April 20th (as part of Global Youth Service Day) from 3:00–6:00pm.

I am wondering if the greens will be edible at that date. I was planning harvest of those in early May max.
